Hugh & Cathy Lawrence opened in October 2013 «La Galerie de Nagambie» in the old bank building in High street; it is a private art gallery which displays a painting exhibition, exquisite collectables and classy local craft.
A private gallery because it is a family project, the Lawrence family has been gifted with an artistic bone. Discover more about the artists…
Wilma Lawrence (Hugh’s mum) has always been surrounded by arts, and collectables;
Wilma ran an Antique Shop in Swan Hill for ten years and has been painting and exhibiting for many years; some of her paintings and collectables are displayed.
Linda Lawrence (Hugh’s sister) has always been into sewing and quilting (her range for babies is to die for!)
Hugh’s skills in creating and renovating has brought a unique touch.
Cathy bringing her French Polynesian touch with some unique black pearl jewellry.
Hugh and Cathy wanted to enhance La Galerie in offering their close friends from Nagambie the opportunity to display their creations.
Di Proud will propose her stunning beading jewelry.
Trish Seenan designs and crafts products that showcase her own unique creative style.
Superbly located in the old colonial bank built in 1873 and overlooking beautiful Lake Nagambie, la Galerie de Nagambie celebrates the bank’s history of 145 years and has opened a new chapter.
